Finally a book that explains to young kids the importance of goal setting and task execution to goal achievement. My kids like the story and the illustrations. They are no more motivated to making things happen with their own resources!

As an elementary school teacher I am always on the look out for books about growth mindset and goal setting. There are many books that can come to mind, but none contain the valuable LIFE lessons we all need. Here is a book with not only goal setting but provides tips and tricks for kids young and old about how to handle your financials and have your money work for you.

I’ve always felt that as a young person I had a great education in most areas, but personal finance was a pretty glaring exception. That was a pattern I vowed not to repeat with my own children, and though they’re young (3,5,and 7), we’ve started introducing the concepts of personal finance and thrift to them, and this book has been a wonderful tool for that. It’s simple enough that children can understand what’s being conveyed, yet contains advice that their parents would certainly do well to pay attention to.
